1. House Rules
1. House Rules
In order to ensure a peaceful coexistence of our guests, it is prohibited to:
Adopt dangerous and unsafe behavior.
Attach posters, postcards or other materials to the furniture or walls.
Dry the laundry outside the designated areas.
Switch or change the assigned sleeping arrangements, without prior authorization or notification.
Introduce and use drugs or other prohibited substances.
Introduce and use alcoholic drinks with up to 20% ABV (Alcohol by volume).
Make abuse of alcohol.
Make dangerous and disrespectful behaviors.
Accommodate external persons without prior registration and payment.
Smoke inside the rooms and the common areas - except for designated areas.
Generate noise and activities that disturb other people in the structure.
Bring animals inside the structure without prior authorization.
Bring bicycles inside the premises, with the exception of the designated areas.
Leave shopping carts at the premises, inside, as well as outside.
Leave the room as well as the common areas, without cleaning them after use.
Rearrange the furniture of the structure.
Disregard the quiet time from 21.00 to 8.00, inside as well as outside the premises.
Disregard the communal indications when throwing away recyclable garbage.
Organize parties and meetings with people who do not live in the structure.
Use any kind of flammable material such as liquid gas, candles, open flames etc.
Leave personal belongings unattended in the common areas.
We kindly invite all guests to shut down the lights and any kind of electric equipment when they are not in use.
The guests only have access to the common dining area and the living rooms, to access other areas they need to be accompanied by the staff.
The direction reserves the right to deny access to the house if the guest does not respect house rules or in any other way does not behave properly, disturbing other guests or the hostel activity.
Damages caused by the guest are to be economically compensated by the guest (see Rules penalties and infringement at page 4).
## IMPORTANT NOTE
To have the cleaning of the room effectuated, the room has to be FREE and IN ORDER to allow easy cleaning of the floor and the furnishing.
Please, always remember to keep the kitchen clean each time you use it. Leave free and clean the cooking area immediately after cooking, because other people may need it. When done eating, wash your pots, plates and cooking tools immediately, and put it back where it belongs. Clean the tables where you have been eating, divide the trash in the right containers and broom the floor if needed.

When asked, the guest has to make a deposit of € 200,00 upon arrival, that will be returned upon check-out. In case there are damaged or missing objects at the checkout, the cost of the repair will be subtracted from the deposit as here indicated:

## IMPORTANT NOTE
Other furniture or facilities not included in the list will be considered case by case. For this procedure will be also applied an additional € 10 for billing and practice management.
3. Rules penalties and infringement
1. Rules penalties and infringement
House regulations establish gradual sanctions to contain inappropriate behavior starting from a simple oral reprimand.
Formal reprimand and financial penalties (up to 100 euros) will be applied when, after an oral reprimand, the rules violations behaviour does not end.
With the third time of a penalty and in case of a grave episode, the guest is expelled.
These rules are clearly written in the welcome documents and are personally discussed with each student upon arrival in Italy. In the next table, type of infringement and the related financial penalties are reported depending on the rule broken.
